FMBCH-02 -- today!

Hi all!

The revised fork-mounted brake cable hangers (FMBCH-02) are back from anodizing and I am lasering them as we speak. I will mark them in stock on the site on Sunday 4/27 at 2pm pacific.

The installation notes and dimensions are already updated — check those out if you have questions about fit. I included a 1:1 drawing you can print out at 100% to check how the FMBCH would fit on your bike.

Speaking of fit, there will also be some 0.125” spacers available separately for those with narrow fork crowns or wide headsets. The standard version should work for most bikes based on the measurement polls I did, but there’s a lot of variation out there. The FMBCH-02 shape is revised from v1 to give a little more room at the crown without moving the cable forward, but printing out the 1:1 drawing is probably the best way to check if you need a spacer. If you don’t have a printer you can make your own paper or cardboard go/no-go gauge with the dimensions provided.

Like last time, FMBCHs will come with one of my CNC’d brass barrel adjusters and a stainless spring, as well as M6 bolts in 40mm, 50mm and 60mm lengths and a nylok nut as options for mounting.
